What do I need to do?

You have two lessons and a prep to produce a slide which summarises how the Nazis used Terror to help control Germany from 1933-9.

Be as creative as you can - the slide you produce needs to be memorable and have sufficient detail (e.g. examples) to revise from next year. You should try and keep it to one slide (maximum two).

Your slide will probably cover lots of things, but must include the following:

• the SS;
• the Gestapo;
• concentration camps;
• key individuals like Hitler and Himmler;
• form D-11; and
• Nazi law courts and judges.

Where do I find the information?

Most of the information from this should come from two sources:

• from the handout you will be given in the lesson; and

• from the following websites.

How should I go about it?

My suggestion is that you spend the first period finding out facts that answer the question, and use the second period and the prep to plan and produce your work.
