15 mark questions tend to focus on:
EITHER:
A. How Hitler rose to power.
1. Why/how Hitler was able to become Chancellor
of Germany by 1933.
This will either come in a basic form:
a) e.g. Why did Hitler become Chancellor
of Germany in 1933?
Or as a discussion style question with one ‘leading’ factor:
b) e.g. Was the Nazi use of threats and
violence the main reason why Hitler became Chancellor of Germany in
January 1933?
2. How Hitler was able to move from being Chancellor
to being ‘dictator’ from 1933 to 1934.
i.e. steps to power.
OR
B. The nature of Hitler’s dictatorship
and what impact his regime had on the German people.
1. How did Hitler keep his position as dictator
1934-9.
a) e.g. ‘Was the use of censorship
and propaganda the most important reason why Hitler was able to create
a Nazi dictatorship in Germany?
2. Nazi impact:
a) e.g. Did the German people benefit from
Nazi rule in the 1930s?
b) e.g. Explain how Nazi policies affected
people living in Germany in the years 1933-1939.
TASK:
Prepare answers to B.2(b)
and B.1(a)
as though you were providing yourself with bullet point revision cards
(Power point slides?) where each 'card' represents a paragraph..
Make your answers clear, colourful
and detailed.
Use the textbook and your exercise book to help you.
Add in pictures and cartoons (noises, music etc) to help bring it
to life.
If you do a powerpoint presentation then drop it into the Homework
box in General Files, History so that we can show them on the interactive
whiteboard.
